When you open this library for the first time, a small card appears in the middle of the screen. This page explains what it is for and what happens when you press one of its buttons, because a notice about storage should be easy to understand.

Why the card exists

Rascarasca Health Notes runs no analytics, no advertising and no tracking tools. The card is there so that, if optional features ever needed storage on your device, you would have been asked first. For now, its main practical job is to remember your answer so it does not keep interrupting your reading.

What gets stored

Whichever button you press, the site saves one short entry in your browser's local storage recording that choice. Strictly speaking that is not a cookie, though it does a similar job. It contains no name, no email address and no identifier. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, and it is not read by any other website.

Accepting or declining

Both buttons close the card and let you read normally. Declining does not hide any entry or change how the library looks. We present the choice so that it is yours, not to nudge you towards one answer.

Changing your mind

To bring the card back, clear the stored site data for this library in your browser. In most browsers this is found in the privacy or site settings, often by selecting the padlock or information symbol next to the address bar. Private or incognito windows usually forget the choice once they are closed, so the card may appear again next time.

Logs outside your browser

The hosting service that delivers these pages keeps short-lived technical logs, as every web server does. Those logs are not cookies and have nothing to do with the card. They are described in our Privacy Promise.
