Rascarasca Health Notes
Say Hola
Hola, and thank you for wanting to get in touch. The four writers behind Rascarasca Health Notes share a single inbox: contact@todoenrascarasca.com. You can write to it directly from your own email program, or use the form on this page, which simply opens a prepared message for you to send. Nothing you type into the form is kept on this website.
Notes that are welcome in the inbox
- Corrections. If a sentence in an entry looks wrong, out of date or unclear, tell us which page and which line. Gwendal reads these first.
- Topic ideas. A question you could not find a calm answer to is often the start of a new entry.
- Accessibility problems. If something is hard to read or use on your device, we want to know.
- Questions about the library itself. How we write, how we check and what we will not publish.
- Data requests. Anything covered by our Privacy Promise.
What we cannot help with
We are not health professionals, so we cannot comment on your symptoms, test results, medicines or treatment choices, and we cannot tell you whether something is serious. Please take those questions to a dentist, pharmacist, midwife or doctor. If you think you or someone else needs urgent help, contact your local emergency number rather than emailing us. Our page Not a Substitute for Care lists where to turn.
To protect your privacy, please keep personal health details out of your message unless they are essential to what you are asking.
What to include
- The address of the entry you are writing about, if there is one.
- A short description of the problem or idea.
- The name you would like us to use when we answer. A first name or initials will do.
When to expect an answer
We are a small group who write alongside other commitments, so replies may take a little while, particularly around holidays. Every message is read, though some suggestions are noted for later rather than answered at length. If a correction leads to a change in an entry, we may let you know when it has been made.
Before you write
You may find your answer already on From Draft to Page, which explains how entries are chosen and written, or on Topics on Our Desk, which lists subjects we are currently exploring.

Inbox etiquette
Common questions about our inbox
Who reads my email?
One of the four writers opens each message and passes it to whoever looks after that shelf.
Can you tell me if my symptom is serious?
We cannot. Please contact a dentist, pharmacist, midwife or doctor, or your emergency number if it is urgent.
Could my suggestion become a new note?
We look at every idea. If a general entry could help other readers too, it goes on the list for one of the shelves.
Do you keep the messages I send?
Only as long as the conversation needs. The details are on our Privacy Promise page.
